Toyota Safety Sense — the camera and millimeter-wave radar
Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) is one of the most consistently-fitted ADAS suites on UK roads — included as standard on virtually every modern Toyota from the 12th-gen Corolla (2019 onwards) onwards. It runs on a forward-facing camera at the top of the windscreen and a millimeter-wave radar at the grille: pre-collision system, lane departure, lane trace assist, adaptive cruise control, road sign assist. Each generation (TSS 2.0, TSS 2.5, TSS 3.0) has slightly different calibration requirements; we have the targets for all of them. In-vehicle calibration at the same appointment.
Hybrid models — camera-mount geometry quirk
Toyota hybrids — Prius, Corolla Hybrid, RAV4 Hybrid, Yaris Hybrid, Camry Hybrid, C-HR Hybrid — sometimes use a slightly different camera-mount geometry on certain generations than the non-hybrid equivalent. The bracket position, viewport size and protective shroud are sometimes hybrid-specific. We carry the right replacement glass for the hybrid version of each model — generic glass cuts the camera viewport at the wrong angle and fails calibration.
