911 — rear-engine, distinctive glass shapes, quarter-glass work
The 911 has a unique glass layout — rear-engined, so the rear screen sits over the engine bay rather than a boot; the quarter glasses (the small fixed panels behind the door) are bonded and replaced separately when damaged; the front windscreen on 992 and 991 generation cars has a distinctive curve. We handle all three glasses — front, rear, and quarter — and the 7-year guarantee covers every fit. See the gallery for a 992-gen 911 quarter-glass replacement we did recently (three photos through the job).
Porsche InnoDrive, Adaptive Cruise, Lane Keep — modern Porsche ADAS
Porsche InnoDrive — fitted on 911, Panamera, Cayenne, Taycan — combines forward-facing camera, radar and GPS for adaptive cruise that anticipates corners and speed limits, plus standard Lane Keep Assist and AEB. The forward camera needs recalibrating after a windscreen replacement. We do that in-vehicle at the same appointment with ADAS-certified equipment.
Acoustic glass, HUD, sensors — Porsche-specific spec
Acoustic-laminate glass is standard fleet-wide on 911, Panamera, Cayenne, Taycan. Head-Up Display is available on Panamera, Cayenne and Taycan — needs precise glass alignment to project correctly. We fit OEM-grade glass with the correct spec for your model and trim.
Common Porsche models we service
Every modern Porsche: 911 (992, 991), Boxster / Cayman (982, 981, 718), Macan (95B, 95B II, the electric Macan), Cayenne (9YA, 9PA), Panamera (G2, G2 II, G2 III), Taycan (Y1A). Older 996/997 911 and 957/958 Cayenne too. Specialist work — and we have Porsche references in the gallery (a 992 with three quarter-glass shots, plus rear-screen replacements).
