Modern Mercedes-Benz cars from the W205 C-class onwards run a sophisticated ADAS suite — DISTRONIC adaptive cruise, Active Lane Keep, Active Blind Spot, Active Brake Assist, and Pre-Safe. Most of these depend on a forward-facing camera mounted above the rearview mirror. Replace the glass and the camera needs recalibrating. We handle that in-vehicle at the same appointment.
Acoustic-laminate glass is standard on most modern Mercedes models from C-class up (E, S, GLC, GLE, GLS, EQS, EQE). The S-class and Maybach take it further: an IR-reflective coating in the glass that cuts infrared heat without affecting transparency — a cabin-cooling feature on the high-end Mercedes range.
