i-Activsense — Mazda's camera-based safety suite
i-Activsense is Mazda's ADAS suite — fitted across virtually every modern Mazda from around the 4th-gen Mazda 3 (2019 onwards) and the CX-30 launch. It runs on a forward-facing camera mounted above the rearview mirror: Smart Brake Support (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, Lane-keep Assist, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, and Driver Attention Alert. When the glass is replaced, the camera needs recalibrating. We do it in-vehicle at the same appointment with ADAS-certified equipment and Mazda-specific calibration targets.
Acoustic glass, Active Driving Display, the Mazda 3 / CX-30 spec
Acoustic-laminate glass is standard on most modern Mazdas from CX-30 upwards (CX-30, CX-5, CX-60, MX-30). Mazda's Active Driving Display (the HUD that projects onto a separate transparent panel above the dash on Mazda 3 and CX-30) doesn't actually use the windscreen for projection — so a glass replacement on those cars doesn't affect the HUD. On CX-60 the HUD does use the windscreen — we fit the OEM-spec glass for that variant.
Common Mazda models we service
Every modern Mazda: Mazda 2 (the new Toyota-shared one and the previous DJ generation), Mazda 3 (BP), CX-3, CX-30 (DM), CX-5 (KE / KF), CX-60 (KH), MX-5 (ND, RF and the new NE), MX-30. Older Mazda 6 (GH, GJ), CX-7 and Mazda 3 (BL, BM) still on the road.
Independent specialist, not a Mazda dealer
We're not a Mazda authorised dealer. Independent windscreen specialist working on Mazdas — including the CX-30 we did for Maurizio (see his review below). OEM-grade glass, ADAS-certified i-Activsense calibration, 7-year guarantee on every fit.
