Quickclear heated front screens — the Ford-specific feature most fitters get wrong
Quickclear is Ford's branded heated-windscreen technology — a fine resistive element baked into the glass that clears ice and condensation in seconds. It's standard on most Focus, Kuga, Galaxy, S-Max and Mondeo (where still in service), and optional on the Fiesta and Puma. The replacement glass MUST be the Quickclear-spec variant — fitting a non-heated screen to a Quickclear-equipped Ford kills the feature and is a common cheap-fitter shortcut. We source the OEM-grade Quickclear glass every time.
Co-Pilot 360 — Ford's ADAS suite
Modern Fords from the Mk4 Focus, Kuga (3rd gen), Puma, Mondeo Mk5 and Ranger Mk4 onwards run Ford Co-Pilot 360 — Pre-Collision Assist with AEB, Lane-Keeping System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Evasive Steering Assist. All of it on a forward-facing camera at the top of the windscreen. When the glass is replaced, that camera needs recalibrating — we do it in-vehicle, no dealer trip.
Common Ford models we service — and the Transit fleet work
Every modern Ford: Fiesta, Puma, Focus, Kuga, EcoSport, Mustang (the petrol coupé and the Mach-E EV), Galaxy and S-Max, Mondeo (still many on the road), Ranger and Transit Custom / Transit. Commercial Transit fleet work is a big slice of the diary — we do it day in, day out. Older Mk2 Focus and Mk4 Mondeo too.
Independent specialist, not a Ford dealer
We're not a Ford authorised dealer. We're an independent windscreen-replacement specialist who works on Fords every day. OEM-grade glass — including the Quickclear heated variant where your model takes it — fitted to spec, with ADAS-certified calibration where needed, and the 7-year guarantee included.
