ADAS calibration on modern BMWs
Most BMWs from the F30 3 Series onwards run BMW Driving Assistance — a forward-facing camera mounted high on the windscreen for lane departure warning, lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition and adaptive cruise control. When the glass is replaced, that camera needs recalibrating. We do this in-vehicle at the same appointment using ADAS-certified calibration targets — no separate dealer trip required.
Head-Up Display, heated front screen, acoustic glass
HUD-equipped BMWs (3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, X-series, i-models) need glass with the precise reflective layer for the HUD projector to read sharply — we fit OEM-grade so the HUD geometry is preserved. Heated front screens are standard on most M Sport trims and select 5 and 7 Series. Acoustic glass — laminated with a sound-dampening interlayer — has been standard from the F10 5 Series onwards and across X5/X7/i7. We match all of these specs.
Common BMW models we service
Every modern BMW: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, X1, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, Z4, plus the i3, i4, i7, i8 and iX. Older E-series too (E36, E39, E46, E60, E90, E92) — simpler glass spec, but the trim work and adhesive prep still benefits from a fitter who has done them before.
Independent specialist, not a BMW dealer
We're not a BMW authorised dealer. We're an independent windscreen-replacement specialist who works on BMWs — and on every other major UK make. The glass we fit is OEM-grade (matched to BMW's factory spec), the calibration tools are ADAS-certified, and every fit carries our 7-year guarantee. Dealer quality without the dealer wait.
